BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Does Adrienne Maloof own The Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas? Brandi Glanville questioned if Adrienne Maloof even owns 2% of the Palms last week on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Tonight the dispute erupts again as the housewives rehash their troubles in Las Vegas.

Last week on Bravo, Brandi Glanville and several housewives head to Las Vegas. But they don’t stay at the Palms. During the final dinner of the trip, Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards reveal they miss having Adrienne with them in Las Vegas because of Adrienne’s ownership of the Palms.

Brandi jumps in and jabs more insults, now at Adrienne Maloof’s businesses. Brandi prompts viewers to question if Adrienne Maloof owns the Palms. Glanville’s remarks stem from 2011 financial reports that indicated that the Maloof family’s ownership interest, at that time, was only two percent in the Palms.

Lisa tonight tells news that she thinks Adrienne needs to be back into the group, aka filming with the show, to defend herself against accusations. Vanderpump tells news “I think Adrienne has been out of the group for too long. That is why I have invited her to the tea party. That is why I think it is time that Adrienne come back and speak for herself. I think it is good for her come now, she is safe here. but I hope it doesn’t all kick off .”

Maloof Palms Casino Ownership Guide

Brandi’s assertions about Adrienne’s ownership of the Palms is a catty reduction of a complex financial news story from 2011. Roughly a year before filming of the current season of RHOBH, the Maloof family confirmed to news that they had entered into a financial deal that would, at that time, give the family a two percent equity ownership stake in the Palms that could later be increased up to twenty-percent.

The ownership deal at the time gave ninety-eight percent, split equally, to TPG Capital and Leonard Green & Partners. The Maloof family collectively would at the time get a two percent equity share of the Palms. But they admitted to news that the agreement give them a future option agreement to increase their ownership stake up to twenty-percent of the Palms.

The deal was revealed initially after financial documents had to be disclosed to the Nevada Gaming Control Board Operations. At issue was reportedly a $400 million revolving credit agreement that was set to be due. Under the agreement, the Maloof family agreed with Leonard Green and TPG to give new equity share percentages in exchange for that debt forgiveness.

Adrienne’s family, especially George Maloof, praised the ownership deal at the time saying that “not having any debt” was great for the Palms and its growth. George also confirmed to news that he would remain as Chairman. While it remains unclear if the Maloofs have yet exercised that option agreement to increase the share from two to twenty-percent, the remarks by Glanville are revisited tonight yet again on RHOBH.
